Exhibit design in the US typically prioritizes lightweight construction, since the cost to transport booth elements within the convention hall is calculated by weight. Lightweight, however, is the exact opposite of Kraft Curing’s approach. The company from Lindern, Germany, specializes in concrete curing and relies on large, heavy machinery—and they wanted US visitors to experience these machines firsthand.
Working closely with Kraft Curing, we selected concrete curing systems that would make the strongest impression possible while minimizing weight. The result: several smaller devices and one large, yet lightweight tent. Thanks to the support of the event organizers, we were even able to operate the equipment live and occasionally let steam billow from the tent—an attention-grabbing effect.
The booth itself featured two angled walls, which displayed a range of application examples and insights from the world of concrete curing on multiple monitors. Most importantly, though, the walls served as a stage for Kraft Curing’s systems.
The live demonstration paid off: it attracted so many visitors that Kraft Curing is planning to reserve more space for conversations at the next show.
